Meet your leaders:
Zina Klaiman
Zina brings creativity and a deep warmth for families into everything she facilitates. A certified Yoga Teacher, Soul Coach, and Waldorf educator, she has spent the last six years immersed in the world of early childhood education – bringing wonder, creativity, and intentional learning to children every day in the classroom. Drawing on over fifteen years of facilitating family events, she guides children and families toward more nourishing connections through movement, nature, meaningful play, and the wonder she cultivated as a Waldorf classroom educator.
Certified with Rainbow Kids Yoga, Zina has designed and led family events that meet both parents and children exactly where they are, creating space for wonder, presence, and genuine togetherness. Her work weaves yoga, creative expression, art, singing, and nature-based learning into experiences that children and parents remember and carry home.
A mother of three, Zina knows firsthand how transformative it is to step away from routine and into the wild. In Costa Rica, she will lead children’s programming and family sessions rooted in the Waldorf philosophy, nurturing curiosity, imagination, and a sense of belonging in the living world.
Genya Klaiman
Genya is a transformative coach and wellness educator who has spent over twenty-five years helping people reconnect with themselves, with each other, and with what matters most. His work with families draws on a rare blend of spiritual psychology, somatic coaching, and nature-based practices that create lasting shifts in how families relate and grow together.
Also certified with Rainbow Kids Yoga, Genya has co-facilitated family retreats for over fifteen years alongside Zina, bringing a grounded, playful presence that helps parents drop their guard and children feel safe to open up. His sessions invite the whole family into presence, whether around a fire circle, on a jungle trail, or in a sunrise Qi Gong practice by the water.
Co-founder of Indigo Wellness and ClearBeing Retreat Center in Ontario, Genya brings a seasoned depth to this Costa Rica experience. His passion lies in creating an environment where families don’t just relax together, they rediscover each other. A husband, father of three, and life partner to Zina, Genya brings this work from the inside out.
Simone Nitzan
Simone is a mother of two (ages 9 and 5) who knows firsthand how demanding – and beautiful – family life can be. Yoga has been one of her most powerful tools for navigating the challenges of parenthood and the full spectrum of being human, and she brings that lived experience into everything she teaches.
Her meditations invite you into an honest and tender relationship with yourself, helping you recognize the beauty of being with your life as it is – even in the hard moments. Her movement classes are grounded, intelligent, and empowering, designed to reconnect you with your body as a gateway to presence. Expect practices that mobilize, strengthen, and awaken you, meeting you where you are while bringing you back to your foundation.
You’ll leave feeling more resilient, embodied, and confident in your capacity to meet life – on and off the mat.
Retreat philosophy:
Growth happens outside of comfort zones.
This experience is rooted in the belief that growth happens outside of comfort zones.
