Yoga Camp is going to Costa Rica!
This 8-day-long retreat will bring together three outstanding teachers with a vast assortment of offerings. Carla Interior, Drew Hume and Simone Nitzan have teamed up to create a week of unforgettable and transformative offerings. Classes will include pilates, vinyasas yoga, mobility and strength practice, yin yoga, restorative yoga, meditation, chanting and yoga nidra.
Each day there will be two classes, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. There will be time between classes to explore local waterfalls, hike in the jungle or lounge on the beach. The week’s offerings are designed to support one another. Each class will build on the previous one and prepare the body and mind for what’s coming next.
You will awaken parts of your body that may have been sleepy, find strength where you may not have felt it before and leave feeling rested and refreshed, ready to go back to your life nourished and prepared to serve in the ways that you do.
The environment surrounding the Navina Centre in Costa Rica provides the perfect spot to surrender to the natural world. We’ll wake with the sun (and howler monkeys), move slowly as the day starts, build energy as we move our bodies, and wind down as the sun sets. Being in beautiful natural surroundings deepens our connection to ourselves, others, and source energy, leaving us feeling refreshed, invigorated and connected.
What’s Included:
- – 8 nights accommodations
- – 3 x meals per day
- – all class offerings listed above
- – beach trips
- – local hikes and waterfall adventures
- – pick-up and drop-off from the PMZ airport or Cortes
Join Carla, Drew and Simone at Navina Costa Rica for a week of glamping, nature, profound movement, and spiritual practice.

Carla Interior Bio:
Born in Manila, raised in Toronto Carla completed her first yoga teacher training in Thailand, and shortly after found her voice to teach yoga with confidence. Carla’s classes will encourage you to get intimate with your body and mind. Her time spent adjusting students in their self-practice gives her a different approach to her led classes, providing modifications to help achieve their personal goals. Eager to learn more, she took her first Pilates Teacher Training with Leslie Parker at Mindful Movement Centre. Leslie focused on therapeutic methods of rehabilitating injuries which inspired Carla to teach in a more meaningful way. She strives to empower her students to strengthen and care for their bodies, helping them develop a pilates practice to support their unique bodies and physically demanding lifestyles. You can look forward to increased joint mobility as well as an overall sense of calm and balance in her Pilates & Yoga classes.
Simone’s Bio:
The experience of linking the breath and movement together in a conscious and fluid manner inspires Simone in her practice and teaching. Her personal practice informs her teaching and she draws on elements of the vinyasa method of practice in her classes. She believes practicing yoga leads to a meditative state and expands our awareness of ourselves. In her classes, she strives to bring together an awareness of the breath with alignment of the body and mind. When we’re in a state of yoga the qualities of effort and ease are harmoniously balanced.
Simone brings an expertise in anatomy and physiology into the yoga room. Where she works to inform her students how to safely and sustainably work with their bodies through Yoga Asana, the breath and other energetic elements of the practice. She believes physical and emotional injury can be healed through yoga and she works with her students to find the unique practice that works for each of their body-minds.
Drew’s Bio:
Originally from Australia, Drew also lived in Canada and now lives in Costa Rica. He teaches from a Human Biology background and movement practices resemble some elements of a yoga practice and also things you might be inclined to call mobility classes.
He also teaches manual therapy courses through a Thai-inspired lens, and so you might be in for a little partner work, should you decide to participate. Drew’s also hosting us at his centre, and is your guy to reach out to if anything comes up while you’re with us on this adventure.
Note: Early Bird Rate ends May 1st.
