We were gifted this beautiful poem from Jo Stephens, after her stay here at the centre with us. Jo and Justine came to the centre looking for a place to run their retreat (found here). Jo really touched our hearts when she shared this with us. Without further ado:

The last 6 weeks have been an amazing whirlwind of everything all happening at once. I came down here to get everything set up and ready to start running training intensives. Along the way, a whole bunch of friends have come down to help out and turn this jungle eco-centre into a retreat. Without them, this would have been an insurmountable project.
You know when your alarm goes off and you just want it to end? There’s an immediate resistance to the idea of getting out of bed and every inclination to turn over and go back to sleep, waiting for the chiming of the second and third alarms that you’ve set because you know you’re going to need them.
